Jayden has been through a lot in her short 6 years…too much. And it broke her spirit. I tried other things that she was interested in, but nothing really seemed to help her. Kids were being “mean” to her at school and she didn’t have the confidence to stand up for herself or to even tell me she was having a problem until she just stopped wanting to go to school. I read that martial arts could help so I started my research. Aim High was close to my house and they offered a free trial class. I signed her up, but I was skeptical.
Five minutes with Cyrus changed my child’s life. She has abandonment issues and is always watching to make sure i’m around. She was so engaged and had so much fun that she didn’t look for me ONE TIME. I was blown away.
Aim High is amazing. The teachers there know all the kids’ names and you can see that they love what they do. They are all positive role models and my daughter is coming back. We still have work to do, but in the month she has been at Aim High her school work has improved, her confidence is high, she’s starting to stand up for herself, and she can’t stop talking about karate!
